Classroom A/V Overview

All classrooms now have the ability for a professor or student to use their own laptop, or a Windows 11 desktop that is in the classroom.  We have retrofitted all classrooms to allow for auto switching between the classroom PC and your laptop.  This means that you will not have to hit switch between whatever device you decide to use, it will automatically pickup the desktop or laptop when in use.

The classroom PCs will require a professor or student to login with their Adler credentials (for the first time please allow a few minutes for the initial set up).   Wireless keyboards/mice will be available and connected to all the computers that are in the classrooms.  The classroom PCs will also be the only way to do a hybrid meeting if needed as it will connect to the cameras in the room.  Please make sure to log off the PC when your class is over to allow for the next instructor to utilize it.

The BYOD option is still available for the classroom environment and will be able to use the screen and audio for the room (the only option it cannot use is the webcam).   Each room will have an HDMI cable for use that also has a dongle in case the personal computer has a different input.
