Transfer Files To/From Virtual Lab

Log into Virtual Lab using a browser.


Open File Explorer and select This PC.  You will see Remote Desktop Virtual Drive on RDWebClient underneath Redirected drives and folders.  The Remote Desktop Virtual Drive will allow you to transfer files between your device and Virtual Lab.


Inside the Remote Desktop Virtual Drive, you will see Uploads and Downloads folders.


To upload file(s) from your device to Virtual Lab, click on the Upload new file button in the toolbar and select the file(s) to upload to Virtual Lab.  The file(s) will appear in the Uploads folder in Remote Desktop Virtual Drive.


To download file(s) from Virtual Lab to your device, move or copy the file(s) to the Downloads folder in Remote Desktop Virtual Drive.  This will prompt your browser to download the file(s) to your device.  



Windows app on Windows

Log into Virtual Lab using the Windows app.


Open File Explorer and select This PC.  You will see the drive(s) on your computer underneath Redirected drives and folders.  You can drag-and-drop and/or copy-paste files in and out of the redirected drive(s) to transfer the files between your computer and Virtual Lab.



Windows app on macOS

Open the Windows app.


Click on the pencil icon on Virtual Lab to edit the connection settings.


Check the box Use custom settings.


Select the Folders tab.


Click on the + button, select the folder that you want to be available in Virtual Lab, and click on the Open button.


Click on the Save button.


Double-click on Virtual Lab to connect.  Open File Explorer and select This PC.  You will see the folder that you selected under Redirected drives and folders.  You can drag-and-drop and/or copy-paste files in and out of this folder to transfer them between your computer and Virtual Lab.
