Using Shared Mailboxes in Outlook for Web

The desktop version of Outlook automatically loads shared mailboxes. However, if you use a web browser to access Outlook, you'll need to take an extra step to get to it:
  1. Log into https://outlook.office.com/ using your own credentials (not the shared mailbox)
  2. Press your profile picture in the upper-right corner. In the pop-up menu, press "Open another mailbox"
  3. Type in the shared mailbox's email address in the ensuing prompt
This will open the shared mailbox in another browser tab.


Troubleshooting

If you get an error in step 3, your account may not have access to open the shared mailbox. Contact [email protected] to confirm whether you do.
