How to log in to your Microsoft 365 email account

Microsoft's email and calendar service, Microsoft 365 Outlook, offers secure, anytime, anywhere access to your mailboxes, calendars, tasks, and contacts. Outlook is the only university-supported email client and is highly recommended for accessing your Adler University email. In addition, we recommend installing the Outlook app on your mobile device from the iOS and Android App store. If you like, once you add the Outlook app to your mobile device, you can go to Settings and add other personal accounts such as Gmail.

Log in to your Adler University Microsoft 365 account

  1. Navigate to https://www.office.com and select Sign in from either the top right or the middle of the page.
  2. Enter your Adler email address and click Next.
  3. Once you enter your email address, the page will automatically re-direct you to enter your password. You should see the Adler University logo. Enter the same password you use to login to Adler Connect and Canvas and select Sign in.
  4. If this is the first time you've logged in, you'll be directed to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA). See the guide on setting up MFA. If you have already set up MFA, you will be prompted to verify your login by entering a number on your authenticator app.
  5. You will be asked if you want to stay signed in on this device. Selecting Yes will keep your device signed in in this browser session for 30 days or until you sign out of or close the browser. If you're signing in on a device that is not your own or that anyone else uses, we recommend you select No.
  6. On the main Office 365 home page, you can click the Outlook icon to access your email.
